SSC CHT 2026 Tier-I exam at Noida centre rescheduled to September 13 due to technical issues

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has rescheduled the Combined Hindi Translator Examination 2026 (Tier-I) for candidates allotted a particular examination centre in Noida after technical issues disrupted the test on September 8.

The affected examination, which was scheduled at Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra (APK) in Sector 155, Noida, will now be conducted on September 13, 2026. The decision applies only to candidates who were scheduled to appear at the affected centre and does not amount to a postponement of the examination across all centres.

SSC Northern Region issues re-scheduling notice

The SSC Northern Region (SSC NR) informed candidates about the revised examination date through an official re-scheduling notice.

According to the notice, technical issues at Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra led to the re-scheduling of the Tier-I examination. The commission has subsequently made arrangements for the affected candidates to take the examination on the revised date.

The development comes as a relief for candidates whose examination plans were disrupted due to the technical problems at the Noida venue. They will now get another opportunity to appear for the Tier-I test five days after the original examination date.

Fresh admit cards to be issued

SSC has also clarified that fresh admit cards will be issued to candidates who completed their registration at the examination venue on September 8.

Such candidates will be required to download the revised admit card before appearing for the rescheduled examination on September 13. Candidates are advised to closely follow updates issued by SSC Northern Region regarding the availability of fresh admit cards and any further instructions.

They should ensure that they carry the revised admit card and follow all examination-day guidelines when appearing for the test.

Change limited to one Noida examination centre

The SSC has made it clear that the re-scheduling is limited to Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra in Sector 155, Noida. The notice does not indicate any change in the examination schedule for candidates allotted other centres.

Candidates appearing for the Combined Hindi Translator Examination at other venues should therefore follow their respective examination schedules unless separately informed by the commission.

The centre-specific nature of the decision is important, as candidates should not assume that the entire SSC CHT Tier-I examination has been postponed.
