Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses (NEET-PG 2026) can now access their roll-number-wise scores and qualifying ranks on the official exam portals at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.

The competitive entrance examination serves as the single-window gateway for entry into Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and Post-Graduate Diploma programs across government and private medical institutions in India.

To qualify for AIQ (All India Quota) and State Quota seat allocation rounds, candidates must meet or exceed the cutoff percentile prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and NBEMS:

General / EWS Category: 50th Percentile

General PwD Category: 45th Percentile

SC / ST / OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC): 40th Percentile

Medical graduates can follow these step-by-step instructions to check their qualifying status and download the official score sheet:

Visit the official portal of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.

Under the Public Notices section, click on the notification titled "Result of NEET-PG 2026".

Open the published result PDF file on your browser or device.

Press Ctrl + F (or the search tool on mobile) and type your Roll Number or Application ID to locate your result.

Verify your total score out of 800 and your All India Rank (AIR).

Log in to the applicant dashboard using your Username and Password to download your individual NEET PG 2026 Scorecard once the individual link is enabled.

Following the announcement of results, the admission process transitions to seat distribution:

50% All India Quota (AIQ) Merit List: NBEMS will publish a separate merit list for candidates eligible under the 50% AIQ seats in central and state medical colleges.

MCC Online Registration: Qualified candidates must register on the official Medical Counselling Committee portal (mcc.nic.in) for 50% AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, and AFMS seats.

State Level Counselling: Respective State Admission Authorities will release state merit ranks based on NEET PG scores for 50% State Quota seats and private college seats.

Document Verification: Verification of MBBS Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate, Permanent/Provisional Medical Registration (NMC/SMC), Internship Completion Certificate, and Category documents will take place during physical college reporting.

NBEMS will activate individual scorecards and official answer keys on or after 1st October 2026. This release follows directives under Supreme Court SLP No. 9298 of 2018 (order dated 29.04.2025).

Candidates must note the following download details:

Hosting Period: Scorecards will remain accessible online for only six months from the date of release.

Physical Copies: NBEMS will not dispatch printed scorecards by post or email.

Key Verification: The portal will display recorded response IDs, question IDs, and correct answer keys alongside the candidate login.

No. As per NBEMS guidelines, there is no provision for re-checking, re-evaluation, or re-totaling of marks obtained in the NEET PG exam.

The NEET PG 2026 score and rank are valid only for the 2026–27 academic session and cannot be carried forward to subsequent academic years.
