Maharashtra HSC, SSC exams 2027 dates released: Class 12 exams from February 8, SSC exams from February 15

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the probable schedule for the 2027 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

According to a press note issued by the board on Thursday, the HSC written examinations will be held from February 8 to March 16, 2027. The SSC written examinations will take place from February 15 to March 11, 2027.

The board has released the dates in advance to help schools, junior colleges, and students plan their academic activities and prepare for the examinations without additional stress.

Maharashtra HSC exam 2027 schedule

For Class 12 students, the practical, graded, oral and internal evaluation examinations will be conducted from January 20 to February 6, 2027.

The HSC written examinations will begin on February 8 and continue until March 16.

Maharashtra SSC exam 2027 schedule

For Class 10 students, the practical, graded, oral and internal evaluation examinations are scheduled from January 28 to February 13, 2027.

The SSC written examinations will be conducted from February 15 to March 11, 2027.

Exams to be held across nine divisional boards

The Maharashtra board examinations will be conducted across the stateâs nine divisional boards: Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.

The board has clarified that these are the probable dates for the February-March 2027 examinations. The advance announcement is intended to help educational institutions and students organise the academic calendar and examination preparation.

Detailed subject-wise timetable to be released later

The detailed subject-wise timetable for the written examinations will be announced separately. The board will also release the detailed schedule for practical, graded, oral and internal evaluation examinations on its official website.

Students should rely on the final timetable issued by the Maharashtra State Board before making their examination plans.
